The 7th International Energy Conference

ENERGY INNOVATIONS FOR MANAGING ENERGY CRISIS

Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics (DNEEP) Universitas Gadjah Mada is currently in the process of being a center of excellence in the energy systems as part of a global institution. To reach this goal, DNEEP needs to share and keep updated with the emerging technological development as well as current issue and global trends in the energy systems.  Therefore, DNEEP intends to hold an international energy conference that is aimed at bridging and accommodating the international energy community consisting of researchers, academics, engineers, energy enthusiasts, politicians, analysts, energy planners, and economists. At the conference, reputable representatives from research, academic, industry, and government institutions are planned to share their experience and vision of future technological development to ensure national and global energy security.

The ASTECHNOVA 2023 is to host communication and dissemination of the emerging technological development on energy considering environmental, economic, and regulatory aspects. The papers on the issues related to innovations and scenarios to achieve national and global energy security are welcome. This event is the sixth international energy conference. From 2014 till 2021, the conference was held successfully and attended by several foreign participants from five continents, i.e. Asia, Australia, America, Europe, and Africa. The map of the reviewer and presenter of Astechnova 2014 – 2021 is shown in Figure below.

Aims

  1. To identify the issue and challenge due to fossil resource shortage and discuss the emerging innovations to ensure sustainable global and national energy security.
  2. To increase the opportunity of research collaboration for solving energy security challenges.
  3. To initiate and strengthen partnerships among universities, industries, and government institutions.
